The Salvation Army Starlighter Luncheon

The Salvation Army’s 2014 giving season will commence on November 13 at the annual Starlighter Luncheon. The Army will host several hundred friends and supporters from various corporations at the event, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency downtown. The Salvation Army's 2014 Starlighter Co-chairs are Patricia Hemingway Hall, President and CEO of Health Care Service Corporation, and Joe Antunovich, President of Antunovich Associates.

The Starlighter is the kick-off of Chicagoland’s annual Red Kettle fundraising campaign, which begins November 13 and continues through January 31, 2015. The Salvation Army receives nearly 70% of its yearly donations from the Red Kettle campaign. These funds are used to support Christmas programs and services, as well as serving those in need throughout the year.
