Proceeds from the golf outing will benefit The Salvation Army's youth programs, including camp, after-school programs and music education for disadvantaged children and teens in the Chicagoland area, as well as shelter for families in extreme crisis.

In 2014, The Salvation Army's Child Care program provided 24,187 care days to more than 2,716 children. Of those children served, 70% completed the program either up-to-date or on schedule in terms of key health and mental wellness milestones according to State of Illinois standards.

More than 54,521 students at 15 sites in the Chicago area received musical instruction aligned with Common Core State Standards. The Salvation Army worked together with teachers and principals at four Chicago Public Schools to ensure students had access to arts and cultural programs.

In 2014, the Evangeline Booth Lodge provided emergency lodging and supportive services to 332 families and 1,175 individuals. Of those served, 567 were children.

By recognizing that every young person has the potential to lead in some manner, The Salvation Army helps to prepare young people to navigate successfully through society regardless of their life situations. Through leadership programs, children and teens can develop their abilities, boost confidence, develop friendships, and other skills for their enrichment.

The Salvation Army gratefully acknowledges the following sponsors for supporting the 12th Annual “Hope Fore Kids” Golf Classic. Thank you for making a difference!
