75th Annual Donut Day
The Salvation Army, Entenmann's Bakery and KISS FM Radio are partnering to celebrate the 75th annual National Donut Days on Friday, June 1, and Saturday, June 2, 2012. Hundreds of Salvation Army Donut Day "taggers" throughout the Chicagoland area will be giving out commemorative Donut Day tags to donors whose gifts will help support programs for children, seniors, the homeless and families in need.
Free Donut Day Concert in Millennium Park
Local media celebrities Brotha Fred and Angi from KISS FM Radio and Valerie Warner and Ryan Chiaverini from Chicago’s “Windy City Live” morning show will help The Salvation Army kick-off Donut Days with a free concert at the Millennium Park Grill on Friday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free event will feature free live performances by The Salvation Army Bermuda Divisional Band, Jamie Lono of NBC's "The Voice" fame and the ever-popular Chicago jazz ensemble Entourage.

Funds raised during Donut Days enable The Salvation Army to provide meals to the hungry, assist disaster victims, shelter the homeless and provide crisis assistance and support to people in need.
