Assistant Building Services Engineer/KROC/Chicago

Full-time position. The Assistant Building Service Engineer will be responsible to complete projects with our current Maintenance team as directed by the Building Service Engineer. This position is responsible to assist in the oversight of Commercial Building HVAC mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment systems, as well as preventative maintenance. The Assistant Building Engineer must also be able to assist in the day-to-day maintenance/engineering work orders and repairs. This position will be part of the first responder team for building emergencies. High School Diploma or GED required. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a maintenance or machinery mechanic/engineer is required. A minimum of 2 years managing sports fields or outdoor maintenance. Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with HVAC systems, boilers and pool equipment. Strong carpentry, electrical and plumbing skills preferred. Valid driver’s license required/MVR clearance.
