This includes all building and utility infrastructure as well as direct supervision of all maintenance and security staff of the Harbor Light Center. BA degree or higher in Facility Management or related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operating a large facility. Part time position will be under the general direction of the Director, the Route Driver is responsible for the delivery of meals to nutrition sites and elderly clients. It is necessary the Driver be familiar with the purpose and philosophy of the Program and in hearty accord with the same, namely: To provide older Americans, 60 years of age and over, with low cost nutritionally sound meals. Promote better health among the older segment of our population through improved nutrition, reducing the isolation of old age and offering the older American the opportunity to live their remaining years in dignity. High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Good driving record. Previous experience working with the older population helpful.

The Youth Development and Ministries Coordinator will work to develop youth and young adults in their faith, character and person through the Corps programs and ministries. Work along with other youth ministry workers to increase participation in local Corps programs as well as outreach to other youth and young adults. Provide oversight of multiple youth programs by providing program leadership, guidance, support and basic training to active youth leaders within the Corps. An Associate’s Degree with a minimum of two years experience in progressively responsible youth development work. An equivalent combination of education, training or experience. The Lead Cook is primarily responsible for the preparation of meals for the nutrition program and for serving as the primary backup to the Food Service Manager in their absence. Under the general supervision of the Food Service Manager, there is some freedom to plan, schedule and carry out responsibilities within established policies. Requires a High school graduate or equivalent, a current Chicago Sanitation License and can have a combination of culinary training and Lead Cook food service experience. Computer skills also needed.
