Full-time position. Will be responsible for overseeing and participating in all food preparation in the kitchen and ensuring that all cooking meets health and licensing standards. This position must work well with a diverse population. Support of the mission of The Salvation Army is critical. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Culinary Arts or Food Services Management degree or equivalent education and experience required. Three years of food service management experience required. One year of cooking and menu planning experience required. Current City of Chicago Food Service/Sanitation Certificate required.
