General André Cox, the international leader of The Salvation Army, and his wife, Commissioner Sylvia Cox, the World President of Women’s Ministries, will visit Chicago in September. This historic visit will feature a celebratory worship service with music, prayers and a special message from General Cox. Hundreds of guests, officers and soldiers from the Metropolitan Division and the surrounding areas are expected to attend.
General Cox was elected as the 20th General of The Salvation Army in August 2013. Together, he and Commissioner Cox lead the 1.5 million-strong worldwide church of The Salvation Army.
