Join Lt. Colonel Ralph Bukiewicz, Metropolitan Divisional Commander for The Salvation Army; Alderman Walter Burnett, Jr., 27th Ward; and other civic leaders for the official groundbreaking of The Salvation Army Freedom Center at 825 N. Christiana,  Chicago, IL on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 10 AM.

The future Freedom Center 5-acre campus will house three Salvation Army programs that are critical to serving people in need from throughout Chicagoland: the Harbor Light Center, the Mobile Feeding and Outreach Program and Pathway Forward. Join us for this special event, featuring the inspirational stories of people whose lives have been transformed by these Salvation Army programs, as well as performances by the Harbor Light Choir and the Harbor Light Hip-Hop Worship Dance Team. Come discover the many ways in which The Freedom Center will positively impact West Humboldt Park and the surrounding West Side communities and how you can be a part of this exciting initiative.
