HOW YOU CAN HELP

The Angel Tree program is an opportunity for people throughout the Chicago Metropolitan area to help local families and children in need during the holidays.  Businesses, offices, organizations, churches, clubs families or any group that wishes to participate can request Angel Tree “tags” from The Salvation Army.  Each tag represents the wishes of a real child or youth (toys, clothes, books, hats and gloves). Unlike a toy drive, the Angel Tree program fulfills families’ and children’s specific needs and wishes for the holiday season. 

Here’s how it works: Complete the registration form to request the number of Angel Tree tags that you or your organization wish to fill.  You can display the tags a Christmas tree, bulletin board or any visible area.  Or simply distributed the tags to each participant.   Participants fulfill the request on the tag, and bring the item unwrapped to your collection site with the tag attached. The Salvation Army arranges to pick up the group’s gifts and distributes them to families in need before Christmas.

OTHER TOY DONATIONS

If you would prefer to drop off a toy, gift or multiple toys to you local Salvation Army community center,  bring the unwrapped gift(s) from October 1st -  December  14th to the nearest Salvation Army location.
